A proud resident of Chemung County for 45 years, I have enjoyed the many benefits this area has to offer. I graduated from Horseheads High School, received an Associate’s Degree from Corning Community College, and then a Bachelor’s Degree from New York Institute of Technology in New York City. Upon return to the area, I accomplished the goal of building my own home in the town of Big Flats, where I reside today. I am fortunate to be employed by a Chemung County company, HUNT Engineers, Architect, Land Surveyors, and Landscape Architects where I am an Architectural Project Manager. I am proud to say that I have served on the Big Flats Town Board since 2011. My wife Stacy is the Director of Special Education and Itinerant Services for Greater Southern Tier BOCES and my daughter Kendell, is a Junior at Horseheads High School.

I look forward to providing a fiscally conservative approach to the Chemung County Legislature in order to maintain reasonable taxes. An inviting attitude toward potential businesses, as well as incentives for existing businesses, will ensure that there are desirable, professional jobs for years to come in our region. Additionally, it is important to build out the county network sothat ALL residents have fast and reliable internet service. More and more, our community members’ jobs or schoolwork could depend on that. Supporting our law enforcement and giving them the tools to succeed, is imperative in our quest for safe communities.

Although these issues are at the forefront of my planning, if given the chance to act in the role as your County Legislator, I will seek to hear the additional concerns of all community members and will work diligently to address those issues of importance.
